Análise Institucional e Políticas Públicas

    The Workshop in Institutional Analysis and Public Policy (IAPP workshop) is a research center in Renmin University of China. The workshop and its research community combine teaching, research, and related activities where research scholars, governmental officials and regular students have opportunities to participate in productive scholarship. The terms "community" and "workshop" are used to emphasize a conviction that research skills and public knowledge are best acquired where students, working as apprentices and journeymen, participate with experienced scholars and public practitioners in the organization and conduct of research. In 1998, the Community was first informally organized as a distinct intellectual enterprise. In 1999, the community began to organize some research workshops for particular research efforts. In 2001, the workshop has been established as a research center in Renmin University of China. --
