One prioritizes the political ally sovereignty of the nation - and I'll accept the definition of nation used in the article above: "a large aggregate of people united by common descent, history, culture, or language, inhabiting a particular country or territory." I also agree with the general notion that America's unique history makes American nationalism difference than, say, western European countries.
