Thanks to Law & Liberty for publishing my review of Mary L. Hirschfeld’s 2018 book “Aquinas and the Market: Toward a Humane Economy.” While I have some specific criticisms, this type of research is important if we are going to break down the disciplinary silos which results in so many scholars knowing a lot about very specific areas of research but also a cartoon-like grasp of almost all other realms of inquiry.
